I’m happy with native Kindle for reading ePubs. I use KOReader for PDFs only at the moment.

I didn’t get that advanced yet. I’m trying to figure out the Dropbox integration at the moment. I don’t use Calibre. I know highlighting works (I’ve annotated the PDF I’m reading), but I didn’t test highlights export / sync yet.

My friend wrote it. I’m reading a draft. I’ll ask him if he’s willing to share more broadly, but it’s probably too early

I can still use Kindle Scribe exactly the same as before the Jailbreak. Think of it this way - before it had Library (for reading and annotating Kindle books) and Notebooks (for writing). Now it has a third thing - KOReader (for reading only, KOReader doesn’t support handwriting annotation).

Yeah, if only it was all unicorns and rainbows. What you describe is how I imagine they interview for director / VP positions. With hundreds (thousands?) of applications per day for software engineering positions, all with perfect resumes, what you describe just doesn’t scale. Software engineers do 1-2 interviews per week each, it’s part of the job. I might be a minority, but I would refuse to spend two of my evenings per week interviewing people. I’d rather spend time with my family instead. I think asking candidates to get a day off for interviews, which happens like once per year or even less often for each candidate is more reasonable than asking your employees to work evenings each week.

I have reported Apple Maps issue in the past. It’s been 3 months and the issue is still there. And the problematic place is 7 minutes driving distance from their Apple Park. I don’t think I’m reporting any other issue - waste of my time.
