I'm the maintainer of DoTenX, a platform to build websites, web apps, APIs, automations, and more.
It's built based on serverless architecture, with isolation between front-end and back-end.
I invite you to take a look and feel free to ask any questions about DoTenX.

Can you mention any examples? I'm keen to know. I personally don't use any such tools. I also agree that building any products in the DevOps space where many people are passionate about their DIY solutions is usually not a good idea.

Do you see any room for automation?

With DoTenX, you can build complex event-driven solutions with no/low-code.
You also don't have to worry about database, authentication/authorization, hosting or deployments.
DoTenX is currently at pre-alpha, available at https://dotenx.com
