Like give me the list of what I can turn on and off, and then let me choose my lockdown sphere.
That’s the future, and it’s coming.
Information propagation mechanisms are often seen as malicious before they're commonplace. To be fair sometimes they are, but by and large humanity has benefitted from increasing the number of bits of information we can consume on a per second basis.
It's a pretty slick system and if you're building on openrouter today and are worried about stripe integration messing up the product, this is a good option to consider.
Separately, congrats to the OpenRouter team. They are selling at the right time in what is undoubtably going to become a contentious market.
Might be worth a look for anyone who needs this sort of thing.
My guess is 18-24 months.
I love that people can just bang stuff into existence now.
There were times in my life where I would wait for an engineering team to change the color of a button for a day to a week.
We are not in the slow times anymore.
It's a very complicated thing :/.
If they can ship code that matches a spec, why does it matter if they’re using ai or not?
Genuinely curious.
I made a repo to automate building software with Garry Tan's gstack repo.
Basically you install conductor.build, authenticate to claude, install gstack, and then you can use the web interface to write a strong product requirements prompt and it will build 3 versions of the product fully autonomously, check them for bugs, rate them for functionality, and present them to you.
It does all of the steps of Garry's gstack including QA and uses the retro to score it.
I tried to design it to ship good software. I would not use this for production without reviewing the code it produces extensively.
