This is a great idea!

Not a huge chcolate fan but I know the founders and can vouch for their integrity. They were both Plaxo founders who really loved chocolate and started Dandelion out of a passion after they sold Plaxo. I also saw them do a chocolate tech talk at Google VERY early on (before they had their factory on Valencia) and they thoroughly discussed a lot of the janky homemade machinery they used for each part of the process and how they made their chocolate. They also showed pictures of them visiting different cocoa farms and talked about how they picked beans and formed relationships with the farmers. Definitely the real deal from what I know.

That was our first thought as well!! Unfortunately FB no longer allows you to fetch the full friends list - you can only get a list of friends who have also authorized the app.

Re: scraping location info, we thought it'd be best to let people put in their workplace since the information on FB is typically out of date, missing, or difficult to structure. It's worked really well - the list of companies is really clean right now!

Great question :)

We've had great experiences so far! Most small hacks / projects that we do end up turning into something that is honestly pretty fun and more often than not, we even end up working on it a bit more.
