How are these firms able to buy at such low rates? I thought these loans were reserved for owner-occupied homes.

With a Tesla it’s only 20 minutes to get 80% charge. It would be more than sufficient to do the LA to SF drive. I’d imagine most people would want to stop at least that long during the drive just to stretch their legs.

There's an update to the original post. What a lovely ending to the story.

I was able to find this site that compares average income by where students went to college.
CSU Stanislaus: $47,000 (early career), $90,300 (mid career) MIT: $81,500 (early career), $147,000 (mid career)
Early career is 0-5 years experience. Mid career is 10+ years experience.

Obviously, we can't say that prestige of college and income are causal but the correlation is definitely there.

YC and ImagineK12 merged (http://techcrunch.com/2016/02/10/y-combinator-absorbs-edtech...).
Geoff is/was a partner at both YC and ImagineK12.

I'd imagine these would be added to all fares so as a price comparison tool it'd still be valid.

That was the biggest thing I missed about Win7 when I switched over to OSX. However, there are several third-party apps that will give you a Win7-like window management experience. I use Spectacle.
