In Latin america we have a role in most of the business of the size to allow it: "the systems guy", "the it guy", "the webmaster" it's he guy capable of fixing everything and make everything work, that guy has been coding apps for it's workmates from the start, I guess he will still be doing that with bigger platforms.

From the other side, the projects handled for the pure SW roles will be massive, very complex and require some sort of domain knowledge apart from pure software engineering.

TuxedoBuddy, my pal, find any job that makes you go out, and while doing that job try to think how to make sense of life outside of work.

Yes, not only management but the customer too, the promise of speed has creept in their minds too. Errors are always at my expense and must be corrected faster, even if it's a provider mistake

Why this things always happen a friday? Like it's planned or something.

I'm having the same doubt, it really sounds like nobody cares anymore. maybe we are witnessing the dead of the copyright for software? I mean, it doesn't have even sense if you can just ask an agent to reimplement something with slight variations or even a totally different language.

This article shows every now and then, and it's a must read. Indeed the natural language programming requires massive clusters of gpus just to make a half baked crud app

Thanks man, You said it perfectly, The software can be prefect, but us as humans can't, and that will lead to problems with the software.

You could just implement a virus perfectly and the wrong bussines process.

I remember those languages were used to verify an implementation, in space rockets code (uni teacher said). But maybe there is a way to build something perfect instead of veryfying the correct implentation?

The theorem can be used un this way? Wasn't only for natural numbers? You argument seems solid if thats how the theorem works. Maybe there is a way not to find Bugs but to build things perfectly from the start.

I remember languages like Casl and vdm, But they where harder to implement and very complex, You mean something like those languages ?
