What’s the difference between you writing Java and then the JVM building the application, and you writing English and then Claude building the application?

So much this. We don't review the assembly/machine-code that the compiler creates, why do we still review the code the AI generates?

If it works as desired then ship it; if it doesn't then iterate until it does.

IMO the commute is the biggest problem with RTO - why must I spend >1hr of _my_ time going to/from an office when I can do the same work at home?

The steep rise in the last few decades is primarily due to increased awareness and expanded definition/diagnoses.

It's not $5/bag. There's also tools to be bought or rented, knowledge and skills to learn, and time spent. $2k is the cheat code to skip all of that.

My calculus is to evaluate time, cost, and quality. If someone can match or beat me on 2/3 of those dimensions then I'll hire them.

I’ve always wanted to do something similar, but with screen printed capacitive sensors on a pcb with a matching led in each sensor.

Much more scalable in cost.
