> nor operating a McDonalds

That was a quote of the parent.

Until last year (when he was 95), he was operating the world's largest holding company by assets and revenue.

It was also the first non-tech company to reach $1T market cap.

And, its class A stock was by far the most expensive stock in the world at $740,000 per share, more than 100x more expensive than any other US stock.

So, yeah, I think he'd be qualified to operate maybe even two McDonalds. Maybe he could even be driven to them.(Coincidentally, he is a HUGE McDonalds and Coke fan and has eaten there almost every morning for over 50 years.)

Disrespecting older people seems to be a hobby as old as Father Time.

> don't think 80+ year olds should be driving a car or even operating a McDonalds

Warren Buffett is 96 years old. Knowledge and wisdom tend to increase with age.

@dang for some reason, the original link was instantly [dead]. Is epochtimes a banned site?

Very unexpected behavior, esp for those with several accounts and phone numbers, intending to keep them separate for security or other reasons.

I did notice that you tried to mitigate the risk, but why not just pick a high port rather than this complex redirection?

Your scheme is smart and creative but unnecessarily risky.

SSH can do remote listens to the world by itself, no second nginx needed, but sish or ngrok might be a better solution for the general case.

Anytime you punch holes, you're taking a risk, so make it as narrow as you can.
