It might of been Im not sure, not the case? But perhaps against a white wall it was clear we were the only ones standing for the performance and in turn it felt he was performing for us. It just felt like that.
I ofcourse have no idea if he was just looking in our general direction but it weirdly felt like it and I thought it was kind.
Ive never had such a "he was doing it for us" self centered view of any other performance Ive ever been to, but I always remembered this, and like to believe it was true.
The play itself was about him being an old dying forgetful man. It was so convincing I somehow left thinking that surely he was but ofcourse it was just excellent acting.
When you say its not deep though, I was just saying that literally everyone in Spain a year ago was talking about the yellow tram crash in portugal, and thus it was perhaps insensitive. I dont mind if noone agrees, there was a point to my comment. Just because you live in SF doesnt negate what everyone thought (in Spain, not SF ) when they saw the yellow tram, it was a national tragedy.
I guess weirdly not anymore. man life is crazy sometimes.
Just one thing about the advert, how can I be the only person here thinking the ad is weird - like for the marketing dep, its a bit weird the ad features the same tram that broke and tragically like ended some people - happened for like the first time ever in 100 years, like a year ago ( 14 months ago) just a bit weird.
Im honestly not trying to be negative, but its kinda weird I kinda feel I should mention it because noone else has?
Im sure literally anyone from southern europe must have thought this the second they saw the ad. It was big news last year.
Am I mad? Just a heads up for PR to always check things like this first when releasing a video? Maybe its just me? Just trying to help
How many man hours go into not allowing things that might break some law of offense? How many hours wasted trying to change the meaning of words and related punishments.
I mean it doesn't make sense to me in any form of efficient civilisation.
In England if I go to my local garage and ask them to replace something like A radiator or water pump it will be like $200 for labour plus maybe $250 for the part ( unless I get it myself off ebay for like $30 and install it myself ).
For example a plastic fender came off, I just bought it for $15 and all I need to do is click it in place when it arrives by post. Im not a mechanic.
EDIT > Incase you all think Im crazy I did the numbers as Im not "a poor man" and quite fancy a cool new car even if 2nd hand, if I get a 2nd hand Landrover Hybrid for 40k, the MPG will be double my old Mini, ONLY if its charged at home, I dont stop at petrol statinos etc, otherwise it would be more!
In 20 years: I got a garage to replace a radiator after a stone hit it, for $600 Also 2 tires once, for like $200.
I might not drive as much as you all, but when I do its at a relaxed pace and the roads are good where I live. I have a manual transmission and Im always careful how I accelerate and how I brake and change gears. It has about 100k on the mileage now
Its a Mini Convertible if anyone cares
Spending my time drinking coffee, tea and remembering to put myself down every single time I make a post on HN. You know, so I get a normal decent conversation from some thin skinned gatekeeping neckbeard burrowed deep inside a 6 figure FANG company who is not doing his job, yet clearly winning at life.
Sorry. I promise Ill get some therapy.
