That looks like inflation.

I would happily pay more for a claude model that performs the same but speaks normal English. The proliferation of claudespeak in the workplace is driving me insane. Every ticket, every PR feedback, every comment in the codebase is poisoned with its ridiculous unnatural vocabulary

Hoardings is UK English (so... English) for the advertising boards around a football pitch

I've been working on a daily games platform called fribble - https://fribble.io/

It's a collection of daily games with some classics like crossword and sudoku, some geography games like draw the country shape and pick the country from a borderless globe, and a few more. Ten daily games in total.

Word Shift and Nine Grid are my the ones I enjoy the most. Would love some feedback!

LLMs seem to work well with tailwind which I assume is because there was a lot of tailwind in the training data. As a human I never found tailwind to be particularly easy to work with anyway (mostly because I can't be bothered to learn another CSS framework) so I was constantly checking the docs when manually writing code. But I do like the rigidity it forces, which is probably a good thing for AI coding as well.

Claude is great, but I have come to really hate the way it "talks". It's so irritating and there seems to be no way to make it speak normal English. So many claudisms in every response

Non latin characters are sometimes inputted by holding down a key. For example on my keyboard holding down z shows ź,ž and ż with a corresponding number to select which one I would like to type. I haven't checked but one would assume if you're detecting keydown the input at that time will be z, and keyup would record ž (or whatever was selected).

Why would you choose not to have empathy for a living creature?

Why didn't he step down for his metaverse then?

Off the top of my head I would have thought zero width characters (eg: U+200B, U+200C) making some unique identifier sprinkled in amongst the output. But obviously far from foolproof since they could simply be removed.

You hit the nail on the head. A couple years ago I started prototyping a similar node based AI workflow builder which worked well but everyone I showed it to was either; confused at how to use it (even for super basic stuff), or liked it but poked holes by asking "can it do x, can it do y" which it couldn't. There is such a small niche of people technical enough to use something like this that wouldn't just opt in for coding it themselves (especially with AI assisted coding nowadays)

I do still use a part of it on one of my projects for building multi-step image processing pipelines for AI property photo editing (ffocal.io for the curious) that are configurable in the admin panel and it works super well and is useful for modifying and testing pipelines. So there are use cases, they're just very narrow

This seems like an insane thing to have to do for visiting a supposed first world country. If phones had been around during USSR times I imagine you would have had to do the same. Personally I will rather just avoid any travel to the US, and I hope others do the same.

What regulations specifically do you find make it hard for you to start a business or hire people?
