"I tell you, is I myself have had a terrible experience. There's no longer such a thing as a typewriter. No longer such, and that's as though they took away my violin, you know, and I had been a good violinist. But I think back in the old days when I had a choice between a typewriter or computer. I have an Apple now, which I just use as a word processor. It tries to talk to me sometimes and I just tell it to go engage in airborne intercourse with the hole on a rolling donut."

"And, of course, the computers will do us out of that. And, what the computer people don't realize, or they don't care, is we're dancing animals. You know, we love to move around. And, we're not supposed to dance at all anymore."

What a lovely project, going to try it later on a spare x230. I love to see a new floating window manager style, tiling is nice but floating too.

Very interesting post about hiring. I am no hiring professional, but after reading to the end this stuck out the most: Do it together. If you expect LLM usage proficiency you can easily check that on the spot, no need to bother the applicant for private token usage.

The Animator app is nice and simple, I would like to have something like it as a standalone app.

I think this would be a cool project to do as a DIY. The market for a linux native Audio Interface is there I think. At least I for one would appreciate this!

Great to hear that you will support it in the future! Sure, resampling works, but i only want to do it when it can't be avoided, not for basic playback.

I would love this and am actively looking for a unit for my linux setup but: why the limit on sample rate? why not also support 44.1 kHz ? How am I supposed to master for CD, which is still something people do?

Very nice project. A feature suggestion: add context variables (${file}, ${fileBasename}, ${workspaceFolder}) so that I can run external commands on the opened file.
