This new era isn't like the shift from Terminal -> IDE, or even local -> cloud.
1. Spawn cloud agents via API, @tagging, cron, webhooks
2. Choose the model, harness, and prompts (we don't make or sell an agent)
3. Customize the cloud environments just like you would a VM
It's infrastructure for your "software factory"
Timing is important here, LLM's raised awareness of ML techniques but we need to remember that most don't have traditional ML educations, so there'll be some "rediscovery" like Jev
It allows you to spawn Claude Code/Codex/OpenCode sessions with an API call.
You can define an agent in YAML, and git push gets you an endpoint. Full VM support (can install any dependencies), Spawns in <5s, with latest commit check out, IAM-like permissions for the agent. You can download/stream the full harness output too.
I'm looking for a cofounder in SF or NY, so please reach out if this is interesting to you.
In a time where emotions are running high and risks are real, we need to take emotion out of it as much as possible.
Currently: ellipsis.dev (W24), Managed Agent Platform
- Spawn Claude Code, Codex, Gemini agents with an API call
- Fully customizable VM's (install CLI's, env var's, etc.)
- Define agents as YAML, Python, or TS for reusability
