Does this really happen, rest and vest? I always imagined FAANG engineers doing brilliant work.

The US based startup I am working with used to give 1 additional holiday each month on last Monday as Mental Health Day since we had to move to WFH after pandemic. Last year it got acquired by a listed company of UK. The first thing they did was to cancel this saying it was not in their policy.

Most people did not mind loosing 1 day holiday per month but all of us felt that new company did not care about it's employees.

Glad to see India in deep green.

Are there any good quality dumb tv available in market anymore?

I would like to know the "why" behind landing on moon project. Don't we already know enough about moon? Why waste money on it? Can't this money be used in other space projects like Mars Landing or earth projects like fighting poverty?

Shouldn't this be a "Show HN" post?
