Every time I ask simple questions, I end up in complex rabbit holes. "What is money?" seemed like a deceptively simple question to ask - one that seemed important - something we take for granted in our daily lives.

Resulting deep dive took over the better part of a weekend, and managed to touch on accounting, law, and economics. I've condensed the full extent of my research into this article - explained in simple english, with examples. Enjoy!

I would have become a music producer if I hadn't developed tinnitus in both ears.

Even after spending 3 years learning how to compose and arrange music, finding my way around a DAW and building sounds ground up from the waveform level - I still never managed to make something as polished as what I got to in an hour with Lyria 3.

One thing led to another, and now there's 6 versions of "996" on my computer - originally inspired from Daft Punk's discography.

Fiddling with Lyria 3 is extremely fun - even though it does tend to completely ignore instructions from time to time. The "Ed Sheeran" and "Unintended French" versions are testament to this.

I couldn't generate an entire song just yet unfortunately - the model caps at an output time of 30 seconds - but its only a matter of time.

The question that continues to haunt me, however - is that who gets the credit for making these? Me, or the model? What does this mean for the artist community at large?

Open questions so far - we're in very early days just yet.

If nothing else, these gave me a good laugh :)

That’s fair, what kind of examples or information were you expecting on the landing page? I’m looking to see how to improve this.
