It seams that for "reader apps" (like Netflix / Spotify), things got slightly better (https://developer.apple.com/support/reader-apps/#:~:text=16....):
> Beginning October 1, 2026, reader apps distributed in the EU may promote out-of-app offers for digital goods and services without an actionable link [...]
So you can now at least promote your offers, which was forbidden previously.
A reader app is, in Apples words: "With reader apps, people can sign in to their account created outside the app, letting them view and enjoy previously purchased media content or content subscriptions on their Apple device."
one note, on the "Feel your sensitivity." page, it says " raw input off — OS mouse acceleration is active. Your browser couldn’t give OpenAim raw mouse input, so your OS acceleration curve is reaching the game: the same hand motion turns further when you move faster, which no aim training survives. On Linux: set your mouse’s libinput acceleration profile to “flat” (unaccelerated). Chrome and Edge deliver raw input directly."
but my mouse is definitely unaccelerated (confirmed via `xinput list-props pointer:"Logitech PRO X 2"`). i am unsure if this leads to erroneous results when aim training.
i'm on: Chromium 150, linux, x11 kde plasma.
That said, this is a pure gaming PC with a Desktop Linux installed, it's not like there's a lot running on there in the first place: no 5 random docker containers, no AppArmor and nothing in kernel space other than what comes by default with CachyOS.
The security and availability of my servers is as important to me as the ability for anyone to access the public services I provide. Which is why I responded to you immediately and asked for your cooperation to help me fix the problem.
You not being cooperative helps no one. Not yourself, not other people with the same issue and not me who's trying to fix it.
Crowdsec is free btw, I do not pay anything.
My webserver is using crowdsec (https://www.crowdsec.net) to ban malicious IPs and I would guess that you are somehow unintentionally affected by this.
You can also test your IP by entering it into the crowdsec website to see if it is affected.
To achieve 333 fps in Quake Live, you can unlock fps with `250x` and then use an external frame limiter, setting that to 333.
I haven't tested this, but I would guess that they addressed this bug in Quake Live.
Tho I still would expect there to be some physics-related issues and other oddities when running the game at 1000 FPS.
