A few people have brought up the idea of protecting a word and this will likely be implemented in some form after the first round is complete. Still thinking through options. Adding session based up/down votes per word (perhaps with a max), and any count that is negative removes the word, feels like a good route. This would help protect words from random clickers. My only worry is that it could create a scenario that makes it difficult to get to a final word.

Thank you for helping to get to that last word!

Good ideas. I like randomly loading to a new position since that is the most critical moment for new viewers. The a-words are definitely not going to make it out alive in this current edition.

Edit: Added! Thank you for the suggestion. And also added an input box to scroll to a specific word faster.

That is a great perspective. Once the board gets down to 150 words, they will stay on screen and only fade out as people strike them. Thinking about it from your point of view, that may not be fun to watch your favorite remaining words get banished on the way to one. Here's hoping that one of your favs makes it to the end!

I really appreciate you taking the time to check it out and comment.

Saw Grok (4 Fast) "bluff open with a suited gapper." It was Nine/Deuce of Clubs. I guess I need to expand my definition of gapper!

Then they will stop getting paid. They do not want to stop getting paid.

This is really cool. I don't use Spotify so I'm curious if there are any plans for branching it out to other services like Apple Music?

At any rate, I've shared it with some friends that do use Spotify and they all love it.

> Nothing stopping them from working on that in their downtime.

Maybe. Some of them have burned bridges with the communities they once loved, all in the name of being more viral and making more money. Justin Flom, Julius Dein, Rick Lax, and Jibrizy are all now despised in the magic community because of their actions. That's touched on in the article, with Julius even stating that he'd give all the money back to go back in time and undo the damage to his reputation. While it is still possible to change their ways and be successful in their original passions without the surrounding community behind them, it does make things more difficult and ultimately less fulfilling.

The MySpace effect.

I'm curious about this as well because the two listings I clicked on had requirements like "must be able to pass a criminal background check" and "must have stable work history" as their first hiring criteria.
