Why is MS doing this after the latest troubles with VP Vance regarding layoffs?

Didn’t Microsoft have an issue with VP Vance regarding layoffs and all the perm processing were stopped. So why is MS doing this which will bring more trouble.

How were able to get out of the drinking habit? I have been drinking heavily on the days I work from home. Drinking really calms me down. I then watch Netflix just so I don’t think.

I remember watching the presentation on V8 by the Google Swedish team I think. Everyone found it magical at that time. Chrome was very secure by introducing sandboxes for process separation. It introduced tabs when Microsoft said their customers didn’t need tabs.

How did Chrome go from being magical and aw inspiring to being viewed unfavorably by the HN community?

I went back to a old Motorola phone not once but twice. Both attempts were unsuccessful. For directions I got a Garmin potable gos navigator. Once I was coming back from somewhere with my kids and it was 10:30 pm. They were hungry and wanted pizza. I used the Garmin gps and went to the restaurant but it was closed. That happened because the gps unit did not have the latest information. My family was mad and I went back to smartphone. The second time my extended family living outside the country were mad because they couldn’t call me on WhatsApp. So I went back to my smartphone. Totally two failed attempts at using a dumb phone.

How is a cursor different from a jdbc call that fetches all records after executing a query? What advantages doez the cursor have that a recordset does not?

Much respect to Steve and the engineers at Apple. However, I hate using a product from Apple that actually causes me physical pain after using it. The magic mouse. I use that for 10 minutes and my palm and wrist hurt badly. Many have experienced the same symptoms and yet Apple hasn’t changed its design. I get that Apple is creative. Do they change their product design based on feedback from actual users in their creative process?

Do you think the CEO will taste the product?

Reminds me of the scene in Kung Panda 1 where one feather of the goose, Peng, falls into the tunnel which Tai Lung uses to unlock his cage and escape.
