When I saw the domain name, I was kinda hoping for it to be a social condom sharing application.

ClassDojo
FULLTIME or INTERN in SAN FRANCISCO, CA
ClassDojo is used by thousands of teachers to manage students’ behavior in the classroom, using real time feedback and rewards that can also be shared with parents. We're an edtech startup funded by some of the biggest names in the valley, and we're one of the fastest growing education companies of all time. PG has invested in us, but we didn't do YC.
We've built a product that makes a real difference and gets huge engagement with millions of kids, and we're about to take it to the next level, hopefully with you on board. If you're a strong hacker who wants to use JavaScript to change the world, apply here:

Hi there!
I'm an engineering intern at an edtech startup in SV with explosive growth. I'm also 16 years old, still in high school and from the other side of the country (DC metro area). I'm still in the process of starting up my blog detailing my experiences as a teen entrepreneur and developer in Silicon Valley. If you or your son are interested in my experience or some advice from me, please feel free to shoot me an email at fouad [at] classdojo.com.

I second Flask, it's a very simple & easy-to-use framework. Just by following the tutorial, http://flask.pocoo.org/docs/tutorial/, you will be fine. Also, the IRC channel is pretty active.
