This is a style of programming in c, relying heavily on the preprocessor. It is usually used by all array languages modeled on the style used by Arthur whitney.

It’s hard for me and you to read and understand this, but more talented programmers like John and Arthur and others use it daily.

So, it’s not a mess at all, but very condensed code.

Did you go and read the tzdb? Go ahead, it’s on github. There is so much amazing historical info in there, clearly many years of research went into making it. Apple/Google can create something that works somehow, but they can’t replace the knowledge that went into making tzdb. And whatever they make won’t be universally accepted.

I am very happy to see this, a continuation under the stewardship of rocky linux. I really hope it takes off and continues with force and velocity… I intend to help if I can.

Until recently it was under AGPL. It was open sourced in 2022, and now siemens bought altair (the company who developed it for many years) and closed it again. Some of us cared and contributed, and now it’s gone… Maybe this can continue under another name using the last source release?

I always eat the whole thing, especially an apple, skin seeds and all. It’s natural to me. Also kiwi with it’s skin. I only peel mango, it’s skin is not tasty…

It rusts just like iron, but the rust (AlOx, or alumina) stays bonded to the metal and actually protects it.

The Lagrange polynomials form the normal basis of most Finite Elements Method (FEM) software. There are other polynomials which are used as well, but these are the workhorse of most solvers.
