Windows 3.x crashed all the time. And when it didn't crash, some resource memory or whatever filled constantly. When I installed Windows 95 (which wasn't perfect, far from it), a friend of mine asked me "so, how often do you reboot", and until that time I hadn't really realized that I "rebooted" Windows 3.11 a few times per day because the memory just filled up and I really had to.

I had at the time some software that run constantly on Windows 3.x (that I don't remember the name of (L-something), but I'm sure I got it from some magazine, since I didn't get Internet at home before 1996) just to monitor memory (and it was also a good task manager/launcher). I stopped using that with Windows 95.

I haven't found setting up Immich to be super easy. But I have a special setup at home (Windows Server with minikube). I've been wanting to try it for some time though.

Maybe I should rope some NAS for just the Immich setup.

Dude, use nice, round numbers. The keys were all below 256!

Click on the hole. There will appear 3 buttons, one to add mass, one to subtract and one to delete the hole completely.

Not exactly. They only require login for old reddit. The reason given is that AI companies were still scraping old reddit.

(I'm not necessarily agreeing with this; after all it's trivial to make an account for an AI company. I'm just saying that's the reasoning behind it)

You can even boot it from powered off, but (at least for mac mini) this probably needs Wake-On-Lan to work.

I would suggest gl.inet Comet Q. It only uses a single USB-C cable to do everything (wifi only of course, and it does need a USB-C port that can transfer DisplayPort in alternative mode). It also has tailscale.

(Not affiliated in any way, I paid for it fully!)

I got that, it works very well.

Of course putting it on 3 NAS systems (which I can even SSH into) was definitely overkill.

But as Schlock Mercenary's Seventy Maxims of Maximally Effective Mercenaries says, «There is no "overkill." There is only "open fire" and "reload."»

XP Service Pack 2 was in essence a different OS.

I'm basing my comment on the article. Since they are susceptible to ASCII smuggling, they can't have been doing unicode normalization.

The task isn't that massive. Python's unicodedata (for example) contains all the info already. Including the normalization (not denormalization as I wrote before) function.

Is there something I'm missing?

Why not sanitize and denormalize (or whatever it's called) the text before feeding it to the spam filter? Or the LLM prompt?

It's about $1000 (more with accessories).

I think I'll rely on the usual bug repellants for now...

How is it being colorblind affect it? The video is literally black and white only.

That's the decoy message :)
