Unless this administration is held responsible for their actions, I think it's safe to say that the incoming administration is compromised too. We had a bunch of hullabaloo from the Democrats about Russian influence and zero about Israeli influence (which is much more overt, severe and out in the open), so it sure looks like our entire government is a rooted server at this point.

Indeed. I've since moved away to somewhere without any recurring natural disasters and I have to say it's a big improvement on my stress and pocketbook.

It's not fraud that's pushing up the price of insurance in Florida, it's hurricanes. The entire coastal South East US suffers from this.

Having lived through several natural disasters I can tell you that even if your house survives, it absolutely sucks when everything else gets trashed. Depending on the disaster, it may also include things like ruining the water supply.

Congrats on paying off your mortgage. Can I ask what it is about Florida that you find attractive versus places that don't have hurricanes?
