Senior backend engineer, ~15 years, mostly Rails. I've done a lot of infra work as well and am pretty familiar with most technologies used for running the web. I am very passionate about creating useful software and have created a lot of side projects - see list at https://mitrev.net/projects. Looking for a product engineering role on a Rails team (also open to other web stacks at remote-first companies).

Working on https://nadir.dev, a small app for running daily technical knowledge tests. It started just as a way to see if depending on claude-code so much recently dulled my expertise in Ruby/Rails but it turned into something bigger after some friends asked me to add non-technical topics, so now it's both for developers and "normal" people.

https://stonksfolio.com

I started it to track my all my investment accounts in one place and a couple of years ago decided to open it up to the public. Active users are in the hundreds but not growing rapidly. Tried to monetize it with Patreon but only 2 people actually subscribed.

It's a fun project to work on, though, and not having paying customers allows me to ignore it until I get the enthusiasm to work on it again :)

I've been working on a stock portfolio visualizer - https://stonksfolio.com. It's still in heavy development but it's already useful to me and to a bunch of other people who started using it.

I've been working on a portfolio-visualizer kinda tool - https://stonksfolio.com. It's still missing a lot of features but is already somewhat usable.

I'm using Saka Key - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/saka-key. It has almost everything I missed from pentadactyl and I love it!
