I know exactly where Justin is coming from. I'm married with 4 kids. I'm glad my wife supports my side-projects. After the kids are put to bed (around 8-9 p.m.) I will work until midnight. My wife will hang out in the office with me while I work. On the weekends I wake up at 6:30 a.m. and work until around 10:30 a.m. From there I will spend the rest of the day with the wife and kids.

I tend to set a goal for what I want to achieve in a given period (for me it's about 4 hours). It's easy to be all over the map when you don't have a full day to commit. With a strict schedule and a goal anything can be achieved.

Failure is one of the best educators in business. Get back in the game and start another company.

I know exactly where you're coming from. In my studies I've found this behavior common amongst people that are INTJs (including myself). I would comically refer to myself as a serial project starter. I finally realized the pattern of getting all excited, pushing out a lot of code, and then abandoning the project a month in long before it's done. Launching my site yesterday was a relief to finish a project and push it out for the world to see. Even if nobody uses it I'm glad that I finished something.

When I read about massive data breaches such as these it makes me wonder why we don't have a system in place to where we as the customer can generate a unique authorization code for a one-time charge to our cards without having to actually reveal our credit card information.

It's bad enough that someone can buy a card reader and walk down a sidewalk and capture credit card data by just being within a few feet of someone.

I'm on the fence about this. I hope that oDesk doesn't go downhill as a result of this.

The most annoying change for me will be the automatic closing windows when the last tab is dragged out. Now I will have to manually drag it out of the main window to create the second window again.

I am living proof that it is. I stated teaching myself how to program in 2006. I did a lot of freelance work for a number of years. I was laid off in Spring 2011.

A programming position opened up at a local manufacturing company. I submitted my resume which spoke heavily about my freelance experience. I got a call for a in person interview. During the interview they surprised me with a hand-written programming test.

It turns out that I was the only person that actually passed the test out of 15 applicants.

Facebook has been doing this for a while. About a year or so ago I noticed ajax request being sent during every keystroke.

Really cool. You're never too young to chase your dream.

I see where Kevin is wanting to create a connection between the reader and the blogger. In my opinion this platform seems distracting.
