i believe you have that backwards, senate gets 2 representatives per state. house gets based on population (less gerrymandering!). but your point still stands

thats still pretty easy in blender, just takes a different approach! Goto edit mode in the part, goto vertex mode, wireframe view, select all of the vertexs for the hole on both sides of the solid part, then move then (in the right selection mode) in the proper direction using your keyboard to move the exact amount needed. Depending on the specifics needed, you can setup custom axis and such to move them anywhere needed (lets say you needed the hole .5mm but 45deg from the current one ref'd from a specific edge).

The same thing can be said for resizing whole faces, moving parts, etc... Its all possible and usually pretty easy to do, just takes a different mentality from that of a parametric modeller.

My dev environment is very similar (no cscope but ctags yes)! tmux + vim + bash + gcc

Vim is so powerful, most people only know how to edit 1 file at a time and how to exit vim... My typical dev environment has over 10k+ open buffers in 1 vim instance. you want to know what "just works" in this environment? vimgrep w/ ## to find anything across these open buffers AND built in Ctrl+P autocomplete... Get good with splits and tabs inside vim and you'll never be limited... it just works.

i use the keepass ecosystem with app.keeweb.info. Its an open source webclient that can directly pull from your google drive (and other places!). I use a google drive through keeweb for syncing, 2 clicks and its syncd. Auto pulls when past pw.

keepass works in browser (how I use it on a computer), can work offline (which is good in air-gapped instances, one of my reqs) and works directly on my android phone without issue.

I've needed something this from the first days of learning to program. I've been able to recreate this (kinda) with vim panes and tabs in addition to tmux panes and sessions.

I'll keep my code in a left pane in vim, <C-w v> to duplicate the buffer in a new pane and then use tags to goto a definition and if needed to go deeper, do it again. I don't usually kill this unless no longer needed and If i need to go down some other branch, will just <C-w v> then <C-w T> to start that pane in a new tab and do it again. Easily keeping the different contexts in different panes and tabs inside of vim. all managed by <C-w |> and <C-w => to make it easier to read... Tmux panes and sessions for entire project contexts so on and so forth.

Having it graphical looks really really nice and I'd love to have something like this for presentations/debugging over zoom sessions.

the Museum of Science and Technology (MOST) in Syracuse has a display regarding the history and tech of cell phones. Our children were also incredulous that the nokia brick was what passed as our first cell phones.

One of the benefits of using "human like" surrogates is the compatibility of hardware. Lets say its a spartan type design, if a human needed to be on the front lines for that space warfare to manage things then taking the hardware from a surrogate make all the other things in war easier (fabrication, supply, support, etc...).

what hurdles do you recommend skipping over in using Anki? I've been eyeing it for a while but just never made the jump.

+1 for dropping the carbs to leave the fog behind.

I used to do a large, sometimes carb heavy breakfast (french toast was my goto... with syrup of course). Brain fog killed me. Switched to 2 strips of bacon and 3 eggs instead (bacon done in the microwave, so easy) and that fog has lifted!

I use keepass with the app.keeweb.info frontend and a gdrive backend. keeweb.info has totp as well. Seems pretty straight forward and its free. Make the backend file accessible by link and forward a bit.ly to it and you can pull it down anywhere you have internet. Phone app works great too. Everything works offline too if gdrive isn't your thing

Every computer I normally use will have a copy of the file in the case that I can't access my gdrive (which I don't see happening really).

You have any good simple examples of your backend? Sounds like what I've been attempting to explain to others. How many concurrent requests and what size of data can you run with a setup as described?

Could you point me to some documentation for this? This has been the only hindrance for me to automate things without digging into the documentation myself
