No, not cheating. You are playing the way it was intended. Maybe we need a hard mode to turn off the plots.

I enjoyed the episode reference in the title.

In defense of SO. I don't think # of questions is not the best metric. Pageviews or up votes is better. If the question already exists, it doesn't need to be asked again. Also, I have the perception that tech stacks have stopped changing as much. Ten years ago we were constantly changing tech stacks and front-end frameworks, so we had to rely on SO to relearn constantly. That seemed to have stopped.

yes, and unfortunately kids are still working in textiles and mining in other countries.

So I wonder if the more generic SAAS platforms (like Azure, AWS) that can offer scaling, monitoring, security patches, etc. will start to niche or industry specific Saas tools. Since the "basket of features" is not what is really needed.

I think you are right. Fasting and low sugar diets should also help.

Also, sometimes marathon/ultra people will skimp on sleep and rest, which will have negative outcomes.

More baffling, my muscle memory knows the keyboard shortcuts, but I don't.

I was at a product developer conference a few weeks ago (will keep the company name private for now), and the speaker asked the room, How many of you are "still" using an IDE to create your applications, implying that if you are using an IDE, you are a dinosaur. I don't believe that but some company leaders are thinking it.

The data center financing is driving up yields. Mortgage rates are based on adding a spread (maybe 2%) to the 10-year tresury (currently at 5.26%).

I have a hard time buying this statement. We have plenty of evidence that chronic use of addictive substances lead to depression, and that social media use is highly addictive. So it is not some huge logical leap to conclude chronic social media use leads to depression.

datalist is a good example of something out of the box that gives you 90% of the your requirement, but isn't customizable enough to give you 100%. For example changing the styling. So people end up either living with 90% or rolling their own.

> "for greater demand, the price goes down"

If demand were to be greater, the entire demand line shifts to the right. But demand is generally stable because oil is a neccessity in the short term. This demand line is near vertical which means people/companies will buy a little less when the price spikes, but not drasticly less. People still need to drive to work, heat homes, etc.

There is so much nuance with this. On the one hand, Texas has hot enough days where it is inhumane/dangerous to not have A/C. But also plenty of days that are hot, but bearable. There are plenty of citizens not in prison that live without AC and make due with fans. HVAC systems are ridiculusly expensive. $1.5 billion is about $10K a person. Too bad they can't just give each prisoner a window unit for $200 a piece.
