Definitely. Tangentially, I encountered 504 Gateway Timeout errors on cloudflarestatus.com about an hour ago. The error page also disclosed the fact that it's powered by CloudFront (Amazon's CDN).

For anyone else feeling a good hit of nostalgia, I highly recommend this excellent site with C64 games playable in the browser - and with netplay too! https://c64.krissz.hu/online-playable-games/

Quaternius[0] and Kenney[1] also has lovely low-poly 3D models, all under CC0.

Very nice! It looks a bit like Publii [0], but the editor part is cloud hosted instead of running as an app on your machine.

GLtron maybe? We had a blast playing it with friends in the early 2000s. Splitscreen 4-player mayhem!

Construct is super intuitive, especially if you've ever spent time in Klik'n'Play / The Games Factory / Multimedia Fusion. And if you're not the fan of no-code / event-driven visual programming, Construct has very good Javascript / Typescript support now.

Requires no Internet permission, works by running as a local VPN service, can block Internet access of any Android app (including system apps).

Karma Firewall can be installed from F-Droid (it's not on Google Play): https://f-droid.org/packages/net.stargw.fok/

Micro Men (2009) with Martin Freeman and Alexander Armstrong is kinda like its British counterpart, I always watch those two in tandem.

I'd stay away from any KeePass clients with network access. I don't have a recommendation for iOS, but for Android KeePassDX [0] seems like a good option as it has no network permission to begin with.

Horrifying. That's exactly why simplewall [0] is among the first programs I install on Windows. Then I block stuff like compattelrunner.exe, devicecensus.exe, explorer.exe, the various Intel / Nvidia driver-related bullshit background processes the first time they attempt to connect to a remote server.

As a huge fan of simplewall [0] by Henry++ on Windows, I'm looking forward to testing OpenSnitch on Debian, it looks like it could be the former's counterpart.

This. The best thing about game jams is that you'll better at the next one. You'll learn to focus, not to overshoot the scope, manage your time better and do quick iterations. I've done a few on Itch and the community is really friendly, which provides enough drive for me to submit before the deadline even if the result is quite wonky. If you rate other people's games, they'll probably rate you back, which is great.

One particular game jam I recommend is Trijam [1]. It takes place every weekend, has a fixed theme and ideally you should only spend a total of 3 hours on a game which forces you to do something relatively simple.

Or another AI could just do that.
