I wonder if/how they normalized the cellphone population across a 3 year interval. iOS and Android have been expanding tracking protections so that could bias the measurements.

Forced software/hardware downgrade to receive vehicle repair is such tyranny.

Do owners that bought a car with a radar-based safety system have any recourse if they don't consent to the software & hardware disable of the radar system?

This algorithm change has resulted in dramatically lower estimates for my area.

Previously I assumed Redfin's estimates were trustworthy trailing averages. Now I realize they are very opinionated or perhaps even trying to shift buyer/seller expectations in a particular direction. I wonder what the success metrics are for their algorithm?

- Instant Pot

- THE CONTROL °FREAK® temperature controlled stove

These devices make home cooking faster and more predictable. No more burnt pots to to scrub. Much easier to try new recipes and repeat previous successes.

Lowering the effort of home cooking has enabled me to eat healthier and spend less on takeout.

Imagine you worked at Google. Imagine you were tasked with building this website as quickly as possible. You have available internal tools designed to work with Google accounts. These tools have already been tested and validated. They have already gone through some level of security and privacy review. They have already scaled to high QPS production uses.

I use my Hue lights daily, but I haven't opened the official app in years thanks to 3P apps & Philips's own Zigbee switches.

Philips may have fixed the vulnerability in an update, but that's insufficient if these devices don't have high update rates.

I wonder how many years until there are fewer than 15000 vulnerable Hue devices in Paris...

We should hold manufacturers accountable for not aggressively pushing security updates on their users.
