A little over a year ago I made this extremely basic website to tell me how many stock market trading days were left in the current year (since answers I was getting from Google/Gemini were incorrect).

It was mostly just for me and I didn’t think much of it, but after a few months I noticed it was ranking really well and recently it’s been getting ~2,000 visitors per month with zero marketing.

This last weekend I chose to optimize SEO further and add a bunch of features to create more (genuine) value - regardless of how niche the space is.

All this to say: niche, one-page websites are far from dead!

Businesses and peoples’ livelihoods are online nowadays, it’s not just scrolling Twitter for fun.

The internet can’t afford to just “give people mental health breaks.”

This is a super simple idea that has yet to be executed in a meaningful way. Instead of empowering affiliates to go and sell your product, why hasn’t anyone created something that empowers people to gain you newsletter subscribers or Instagram followers?

Seeing the maps was interesting. Pretty sure there are like 2 dozen words for weed…
