I just want to point out that if there was an outcry it wasn't by the actual (recently deceased) artist, who, according to Wikipedia, was happy to see his creation get this kind of visibility.

They should vote for parties that are not organized in the EPP (European people's party). The exact party options depend on the country you're voting in.

Insider trading is it course not legal for politicians in Germany, as you could have found out without being a lawyer.
That being said, transparency/reporting duties for members of parliament/ministers can and should definitely be improved.

The thing I stumbled over was that the house owner was out mowing the lawn, something that we actually do have robots for nowadays.
But then again, I do enjoy a good, meditative lawn mowing.

A model unexpectedly having internet access during evaluation is clearly a security (and consecutively legal?) issue when it comes to the capture the flag evaluations. But it also potentially invalidates other non-security evaluations or makes them less impressive, as the model might have just googled solutions.
Reading this, I felt like I was too harsh on OpenAI for not monitoring their network, as they at least attempted to sandbox a workload.

Some ants isolate themselves when they are close to death, which prevents infectious diseases from wiping out the entire colony. [1]
I think in this case forcibly ejecting the injured ant could lead to more injuries of otherwise healthy ants.

That brings back memories...
In 2008 I was in high school and wrote a TI-BASIC tutorial in German [0] on my blog that became by far the most popular thing I wrote - maybe on par with my post about how to fix a quest bug in Skyrim by teleporting Delphine.
I was a bit mad back then that people for some reason appreciated those posts more than many very deep teenager ramblings about politics/philosophy :D

Absolutely amazing blog post!
I have to say that intuitively I wasn't at all surprised that duplicating a single layer didn't do much good, but I had never expected that you can identify and so clearly visualize these relatively short circuit blocks (and of course it's around the magic number 7! /jk). Super cool research and really well explained!
