I came to the same conclusion about AI generated code. When I read code written by a human, just by skimming it, I can get a sense of what purpose the code has, why it was written this way and not another way, what style and mindset the programmer behind it has. AI generated code may sometimes be extremely precise and following all the good practices, but I feel no intent behind it.

Being able to redefine structs is what I always wanted when prototyping using Revise.jl :) great to have it

Wow, I've been looking for a meaningful definition of the Legendre transform for ages, thanks for writing this up

That is really a wonderful book which I perused when learning linear algebra, maybe a bit on the mathy side for OP expecially as he is asking a book for a "visual learner". Fortunately linear algebra can be grasped intuitively in dimensions above 3 even if it can't be visualized, but maybe I'm biased as it is bread and butter for me now.

Thank you, this is gold. I have discovered a couple of nokia phones in my drawer and I was wondering how the hell I could develop on them. Since then I have discovered the whole "cooked ROM" scene, which has of course died in the meantime. I hope that archive will answer my questions. Btw, if anyone knows, is a special piece of hardware needed to flash the firmware of a nokia symbian phone?

What is the significance of this when looking at the fact that SGX support has been recently merged into linux main tree?

I was waiting till next Ubuntu LTS to have qemu packaged with SGX support in order to reverse engineer my fingerprint sensor (which is match-on-host, and uses SGX under Windows).

As a student of both German and English, this mistake looks weird to me, as you are supposed to start the question with the verb in German (Brauchst du ...?), and this acts as a pretty good reminder to translate the question with the do in English.

Ditto. I rarely use multiple cursors in other editors, but I use them _constantly_ in Kakoune. I have been using it for multiple years. The composability of the command language is what makes it shine.

Do you mind posting some reference on the unpredictability of pause times in rust? I'm interested in real-time systems and I'd love to know more.
