This is truly depressing and most likely very true.

I do not see enough people discussing this and trying to position their businesses in a way to avoid destruction at the hands of the labs.

This would have an even greater loss of the “why” context the author is describing in the piece.

The reasons are highly project specific. The closer your project is to CRUD, the higher the chance of success.

A question to the other builders in this space: how are you positioning yourself and differentiating against incumbents like this or even Claude Cowork? Are you finding many clients looking at your system and telling you they could prompt Claude directly?

That would be interesting.

I am also building in this space and wanted to get your views on a few things.

1. Are you building your own connectors to 3p systems? 2. How are you finding the sales motion? I found people to get the problem fast, but actually converting them seems rather slow.
