I've recently gotten really into a real-world territory capture game called Payphone Tag, so I wrote up a blog post explaining how constraint optimisation tools like Google's OR-Tools (specifically the CP-SAT) solver can generate an optimal route that lets you capture as many payphones as possible on a run.

Thought the HN crowd might find it interesting.

Second paragraph: “Behind each plastic bottle cap is a careful engineering process that balances cost, user experience, and manufacturability at massive scale.”

I'm with Up and they're the best bank I've ever been with.

They pump out features fast and often. Their API is the first I've seen in Aus. Their app is really nice to use and extremely useable.

Possibly my favourite app!
