just adding a 'hell yeah: orbstack is so good' to the thread. i mainly avoid containers where i can, but when containers need to happen, orbstack is 'just enough' for me. lovely and well considered ui, stable, performant. don't need much else. thank you for your work and care!

The people that are most likely to pay are (in most cases) the most loyal users, who visit the site regularly. If those loyal users who push up ad views then move to an "ad free" plan, ad views go down, ad sales team gets sad.

Don't get me wrong, everything about this model sucks -- it's just not as straight forward as it might seem.

great write up! have only dabbled in python, but dabbled enough to understand and _feel_ each dotpoint under "what problems uv tries to solve".

Only semi-related, I have also found the 11ty docs lacking from time to time, but don’t really have a great idea in my head about what good docs look like vs bad ones.

If you have a moment, I’d love to hear why you think these are exceptionally bad docs, and some examples or thoughts on what you feel are excellent docs!

We use and financially support 11ty at work, so if it’s something I can manage, I’d like to help make the docs better over time.
