From first principles I think youre right, but also Anthropic is making something like 80% margins.

I'm not a parent, but don't parents give their kids tablets all the time? The number of toddlers I've seen walking around with tablets glued to their faces makes me uncomfortable, but they're actually just ipads or android tablets. This product seems to me like just another tablet, with a slightly different build for kids.

I'd guess any parent who is already planning on giving their kid a tablet would get this but any parent who is against it will not? I'm not sure this product in isolation increases the number of tablet viewing toddlers.

Runescape was the first thing that got me into coding. Fell in love with the game and had a ton of admiration for the devs who could spend decades crafting the same game, to create such a wonderful playground for so many millions of people.

Stopped playing after a few years but still have many fond memories of the joy I had everyday after school logging onto that game.

Yeah brutalist is exactly right, that is basically what I prompted for. I didn't realize a bunch of other people were doing this. Actually the only inspiration I had for this was watching the movie (Brutalist) a few years back.

You could be right, I haven't seen too many like this yet, but it did some out with this staggeringly fast. The style I've seen the most are the gradients + font changes mentioned in the article.

At least some of these are just for lack of caring. I vibe coded this landing page recently https://tui2web.com/ and fought off a lot of the defaults the LLM came up with after a few hours of iteration. Feel free to roast it, I'm not really attached, but I thought it did a reasonably good job.

Just dropping by to say that you're doing gods work advocating for more housing. Its exhausting seeing amount of cynicism around how the status quo just can't be changed for this or that reason, but seeing the small, incremental, advocacy over decades pro housing groups put in is really inspiring. An incredible amount of progress has been made here

I find for these what happens is that the phone itself can’t actually install certain banking or security apps, and also our workplace restricts it.

Inevitably I have to carry two phones around Anyone find a solution around this?

I think they are referring to the file https://github.com/SWE-agent/mini-swe-agent/blob/main/src/mi...

190 lines with comments included so close enough

Which is the actual agent? Everything else is just glue code to connect to different LLM providers, etc

I've been slowly working on https://github.com/CanineHQ/canine for about 2 years now. Basically a self hosted, FOSS that turns a Kubernetes cluster into something as easy to use as Heroku. Its grown to about 2000 active developers using it host small things at https://canine.sh

It was a pain point from a start up I cofounded before where we needed Kubernetes flexibility but developers hated using it. I figured there was no reason why it had to be hard to use and thus Canine was born.

Lately been playing around with setting up remote dev containers on your own compute as well -- basically like github codespaces, except self hosted.
