I have released an optical file transfer format called LIZARD. Unlike QR codes, it is optimized for a digital rather than physical format: it degrades gracefully by distance and resolution. Here is it demonstrated crossing 16 Mbps at a 1080p@60 camera. It uses a small, local, self-trained CNN AI model to find the code's corners. Additionally sending/decoding is accelerated on a GPU for speed. For error correction, I am using LDPC as well as Wirehair as my fountain code. Using a signed pilot system to track frame desynchronization, this app is capable of stable high transfer rates at 60fps and appears to defeat the the rolling shutter problem that optical camera communication infamously suffers from.

Ai is good at replacing services (e.g cashier, research assistant, etc). But it should never replace friends, as it's too predictable. I discuss projects with chatgpt all the time, but I never talk about non-research stuff unless I want it to generate italian brainrot.

Ai is wonderful but it should never replace friends. I detest Mark Zuckerberg's claim that AI will replace friends, that's simply not happening. But AI is wonderful at tasks like upscaling or even meme generation.

It feels like controlling an infinite genie. if you control it well, it is extremely powerful, but it will take anything literally in many cases. But if you master it, and treat it as a compiler of intent, using Plan mode appropriately, you can accelerate and punch far above your weight class.

need one for brain plasicity. it would be nice to be able to easily learn a foreign language or musical instrument naturally.
