I’d be worried about my crypto if I had any accessible online right now. AI based hackers must be looking for juicy targets as we speak and what’s better than crypto for stealing ? So many exchanges and wallets and shitcoins that could fall to some brute force agent swarms

Maybe I need to start collecting gold bullion again. And dig it in the backyard

I have a company abroad in addition to living abroad. It’s kind of a nightmare to do my US taxes and costs me easily $2000 per year right now. I was hoping I could have an agent do them after I have a few years of data and point it at the source statements and the end result forms

I’m just even more confused

I think that’s getting harder by the day. If there’s a thousand new releases per day then what are the chances a critical mass of players discover your brilliant game in the pile of slop? It was already bad before AI could churn these out en-masse

AI clones would be a race to the bottom in pricing because how else would clone #4 stand out from clone #3

Discoverability has been the biggest problem for small devs at least before I left the industry in 2018. It’s great Richard Garriot found an audience going up against 5 other games that were released at the time. Nowadays it’s thousands per month plus the ever growing backlog.

People also love to pick the outliers like Balatro to point out how feasible a small indie team is. There were thousands of other games released that made $0 dollars and found 10 players for every Balatro. The p90 outcome is barely a sustainable small business in game dev unless you live in literal poverty

I’d rather have an eject seat if I was so worried of falling off bridges lol

I mean in theory if it did work you could use it to take shortcuts or go over very difficult terrain or a flood or something but I don’t think traffic or aviation laws are anywhere near to allowing that

Yeah I don’t see why the idea was thrown out so flimsily. Surely you can set up a sandbox possibly a wholly separate account from the corporate one and give that to the candidates

We haven’t been able to use opus as much as we’d want because it’s been too expensive for general use, price drop is good so I can stop juggling different models and just use this daily unless it has some weird new issues
