IDK man. I don't think everyone has access to that one.

There is reason to be worried and excited. I would say web3 and crypto were hype. The VCs bet on it heavily and tried to make it happen, but it didn't.

AI is still in its early stages and is already disrupting jobs and work. Many enterprises that were laggards in technology adoption are now embracing AI use cases. Every week breaks an assumption that was made in the previous one. It's all tiring and demanding to keep up. Perhaps there is some hype surrounding agents and the extent to which they can deliver, but the big bet is that upcoming models will outperform their predecessors.

From a b2b perspective, agents are already making a difference in enterprises. So there's substance behind the hype.

As someone who heavily utilizes AI for writing code, I disagree with all the points listed. AI is faster, a multiplier, and in many instances, the equivalent of an intern. Perhaps the code it writes is not like the code written by humans, but it serves as a force multiplier. Cursor makes $500 million for a reason.

I would not use this without a SOC 2 Type 2 compliance at the very least. Especially when email is involved and Notion-mail reads your from, to, body and saves it in its data centers. The compliance information is also contradictory. The webpage says mail is SOC 2 Type 1 compliant, while the FAQ says

"Is Notion Mail SOC 2 compliant?"

"While Notion Mail is not currently SOC 2 compliant, we expect Notion Mail to be SOC 2 Type I compliant by GA launch."

Either the FAQ or the landing page needs an update.

From an outsider’s perspective, it’s difficult to discern any coherent U.S. strategy—assuming one even exists. One day it’s a 145% tariff on China. The next, it’s “Well, it’s still 145%, but Apple and Nvidia are exempted because their stock prices might take a hit.” Then comes a 90-day pause, adding to the confusion.

It’s not clear whether Jamieson Greer is actually steering this, or if any of it was thoroughly thought through.

Citations and reasoning models eliminate this to a fair degree. Deep research cites most of its conclusions. We may not be fully there yet, but we're getting there.

Doesn't sound like the LLM was the problem here. By your own definition, you are lazy.

From looking at the demo, you might still have glare issues. You want this display if you'd like one that goes easy on your eyes.
