Looking at their about[0] page, it seems like Typogram is a company started by the person who also created Coding Font. That might explain the "by Typogram" label.

I’ve not read this book, so can’t offer a comparison but Thorsten Ball’s two books [1] are great.
The dragon book was my textbook in college, brings back memories, might be outdated but some concepts should still be useful.

Is it Sweet Transit? The about section mentions that the developer was part of Factorio.

It's a term borrowed from assembly lines(0), where if the andon cord is pulled, the entire line stops until some manager or the likes inspects and restarts it. For amazon, the equivalent would be pulling the listing immediately from the website, blocking orders and flagging the item for immediate review.

Really hoping the native app survives. Thanks for the great app! I’ve been a user for a long time and hope to remain so.

Paw[0] is a pretty good native macOS option, at least for now. They were acquired sometime last year by RapidAPI[1], and since have released electron based versions of their app for Linux and Windows.
I’m really hoping they don’t go the 1Password route and kill their native macOS product to move everyone to the cross-platform one.

Interesting, I never played much games but the WASD keys sounds like a really good reason why some may type '6' with the left hand.

If MSFT released a cherry MX version of this keyboard, and moved the 6 key to the right hand cluster, it'd be an instant buy from me. I learned touch typing with 6 on the right side, and most keyboards I've seen have it setup the same, so not sure why MS sticks with this convention.

A few libraries in the Java world have this model. They haven't produced unicorns but seem to be pretty stable businesses - jOOQ(1), hibernate(2) etc. I'm researching DB libraries for work and so those are the ones I recalled immediately, but I think there are some commercial UI ones too.

Docker for mac is ridiculously bad to use. We use build containers at work, and Big Sur definitely gets mad at the VM activity & the high disk activity. My 2019 15" i9 MBP sounds like a jet engine half the time.

Checkout jooq(1) for a SQL DSL in Java. I've used it with MySQL and love it. Trying to convince my employer for the paid version with RDS.

Metafilter.com has a $5 one time sign up fee and a waiting period for similar reasons. That discouraged posting useless questions that plagued Yahoo Answers. Used to be a good, useful website a few years back but rarely comes up in results these days, maybe because Quora is free and drives more traffic or better SEO!

This post[0] by Tim Dettmers should help. Reading through the article, it seems like he covers a lot of ground and lays out choices quite well. tl;dr is that only Nvidia is your best bet for local computing power, stay away from AMD & Intel for now.

Since you mentioned DataGrip, it seems like IDEA has this capability built in - [0]. You may need the Ultimate version. In that case, the $5/month really comes down to the collaboration features, although, office 365/google docs could be a poor-man's alternative.
For MySQL users on macOS, Sequel Pro can export your schema to graphviz format as well - [1]
