So much for anti-centralization.

Agreed on the Sausage. It’s elegant but sooo hard.

The Witness absolutely has a reason for all of its puzzles. There are several independent layers to it. Myst is cool but is ultimately an adventure game, in comparison.

If you prefer Myst then, besides Outer Wilds, I’d recommend Blue Prince.

Have you played Baba Is You? Parabox is great, but Baba is just so amazing.

Have you actually read the AGMAI or AHM releases?

You can appeal to authority all you want, but you should actually read the opinion of the authority you're appealing to.

Irresponsible is an adjective that means lacking a proper sense of responsibility, or acting without thinking about or caring about the potential consequences of one's actions.

They do not care if they waste everyone’s time or flood the common with slop. They did not spend their own time to verify that the Lean proofs correspond to the natural language proofs. They did not even spend their own time to verify that all of these proofs are well written.

They instead are mining the unrenewable resource of open math problems.

However, seeing it another way is easy if you are financially motivated by their upcoming IPO (see how easy it is to invent motivations for comments?).

It always seemed embarrassing to me that Microsoft hired this guy as if he is some expert in anything.

Beautiful? Just the number of keywords and reserved words and compiler attributes makes it very ugly to me. There are so many ways to do things (and if SwiftUI is involved I can expect a significant subset to... just not work - but I don't think that's the language's fault).

Consider that it is very costly to train a model. It is only cheap to copy because the substrate we instantiate it onto is a substrate we have designed to be fully readable.

I think you should reconsider this viewpoint. Suppose that we really can create silicon-based consciousness, in that case your view would result in a huge amount of suffering.

Take some other basis for dismissing digital consciousness, this one is too dangerous.

"This way, I can enjoy YouTube ad-free and without an account."

Not having the gumption to actually give it up. Pathetic.
