Probably more responsive.

Windows apps always had to be able to respond to dynamically changing screen dimensions since the user could change from one screen resolution to another while an app was still running. Apps would get a WM_DISPLAYCHANGE message in their top-level windows message processing loop. Docs say WM_DISPLAYCHANGE was introduced in Win95.

July and August are usually great summer weather - though I never had to deal with forest fire smoke when I lived there. Often June is nice as well.

These are the Seattle Tourism marketing months. Microsoft's college interns got the best weather of the year.

What they don't tell prospective residents is that the other 9 or 10 months of the year will be gray and drizzly/rainy, esp. December to March.

I could deal with the inclement weather, but one person I knew had to get a bright light to treat his seasonal affective disorder.

Here's the reference to the testing scheme that Windows 95 came up with from Raymond Chen's blog - https://devblogs.microsoft.com/oldnewthing/20050824-11/?p=34...

Buy up one copy of every software package available at Egghead Software and have your team test it and file bugs.

At this website, the cancer articles are tagged, https://jakeseliger.com/category/cancer/.

The first cancer-related post - https://jakeseliger.com/2024/05/25/the-one-year-anniversary-...

Bess is an ER doctor, but even with all that medical knowledge, navigating cancer care seemed difficult.

So those with no medical knowledge from themselves or family or friends may have a much more difficult time.

If you look up how to calculate the glycemic index of a meal, the formula treats each meal component's glycemic index as a proportion of the total meal's glycemic index.

But the above example shows that the body doesn't treat food in that manner - the relatively low carb, higher fat cheese didn't smooth out the higher proportion carb count of the toast.

In the paper, the largest carbs for the ultraprocessed meal was instant mashed potatoes, while the non-processed meal had bananas as the largest carb source followed by craisins/cranberries.

The high carb foods in the unprocessed meal are paired with fiber.

The high carb foods in the ultraprocessed meal are NOT paired with fiber.

The fiber slows the rate of carb intake.

Same thing occurs with protein - same amount of ground beef and steak, ground beef meal will result in faster amino acid ingestion than the steak meal. No idea if there are any pros/cons of the faster ground beef ingestion, but there is a difference in how the digestive system processes the two meals.

RTX Spark laptops / desktops use the RTX Spark N1X SoC, which is targeted at mobile platforms.

see https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/rtx-spark-n1x-6144-cor...

But many of the specs on that page are estimates, but given this is a mobile-specific SoC, you can assume that the perf-envelope is lower than the DGX Spark SoC.
