Not much different from Workflowy. Slowly improving day by day. You can self-host it on the Cloudflare architecture! (I need to create better docs for that)

For anyone wanting Workflowy but open source and self-hostable, I’ve created Dotflowy

Been creating an open source Workflowy alternative called Dotflowy and it’s available for testing now
Invite code: jesus-saves
Think Workflowy outliner meets plugin extensibility of Obsidian, meets the beauty of Linear, meets the markdown feel of Bear notes

"jesus-saves" is the code
And, look at the CONTRIBUTING.md and it should tell you how, but you'll need to run the local migration and then run `bun run cf:dev`

This has been a fun project over the past 3 weeks. It's helped me begin to think through ways where I wished Workflowy would've explored, but since Workflowy isn't open source or plugin-based, I took things into my own hands.
Built on TanStack Start, TanStack DB, TanStack Virtualizer, Effect v4, Xstate, and the Cloudflare ecosystem.
You can self-host it for free, too

Bullets and zoom like Workflowy. Extensible like Obsidian. Beautiful like Linear. Open Source.
