I think we are coming to a point where we are at a sweet spot for immersive human collaboration work.

Yep, it will generate what ever you ask for but if you want to have some sort of exploratory work, immersion, feeling of ownership and genuinely a connection with the things you are building - a part the build loop should belong to you.

Maybe this is an attachment of people who built things in other ways. Maybe the perceived value of applications will drop to near 0 and you will end up having all in one apps or voice wants like to a star trek replicator. Fun things are coming, but humanity will need to adjust hard - best case scenario.

Gotta be honest with you. I was kinda hoping for a big blank page with 2 letters spelling NO. But interesting topic - and at least you got a couple of comments. :D

The book opens with why Lumosity got fined in 2016, their scores really were going up :D. Actually I think the book applies to any kind of measuring.

Maker here!

Excogni does its best to measure and train cognition while staying honest. It is made in a way where it shows and points to any uncertainty. It is a long way from done, but it is open - open code, open data - to the extent where it can keep users from being singled out. I Hope some of you enjoy it as much as I do. And honestly the app without data is a shell, I hope you will try it out. I am open to all suggestions and will consider them. I'll also make sure to check and respond to any feedback, maybe not at the same moment but I'll do my best to do it today.

Also Max, I have a hunch we could be friends. I will make sure to read your work. You have a follower.

Respect for the thoughts. Now that you got me thinking about Tolstoyan Art it sounds like zero pre-shared knowledge emotional information transfer attempt to me - Which would be cool. It sounds a bit more like discovering an universal graphical language for emotion transfer then inventing one - where inventing would require the observer to go trough schools to learn and understand, while discovering universal communication graphical tools the information(feeling) would be mostly understood instantly. Really cool topic to think deeper about.

I am sorry if you read it as an attack on religion, it was an attack on big AI. If religion sends or even needs to send data upstream is not part of my knowledge, but AI does. But church did have the best understanding of who is who in a local society and AI companies will use this data in a more concrete way. I just drew the parallel to get the gears spinning. I agree that the organized religion was crucial glue to society trough history.

When you stop to think of it, historically people have told their secrets to the church, now they also tell them to AI. There is some kind of relation there, the power that people willingly give to an organization. The Ads are coming so I guess people will start to think about it a bit more.
