I am a software engineer building LLM-powered applications and data pipelines. My core stack is Python, TypeScript, React and SQL on AWS, shipped through Git and GitHub Actions CI/CD.

Since 2021 I have led the development of production applications, from WordPress sites to internal tools on Quickbase. I also build REST API integrations connecting AWS services to other platforms, such as Trello and Zapier. Which together automate workflows cutting thousands of hours per week of manual work and powering two-way reporting for 300 colleagues.

I run a Linux homelab where I serve self-hosted LLMs through Ollama on dedicated GPU hardware and monitor services with Prometheus and Grafana. Recent builds include Flask services for checking username availability across 100 sites, a Raspberry Pi pipeline to turn pressure-sensor data into D3.js visualizations and a lyrics-analysis app whose Python backend emits a rhyme-network graph for an interactive frontend. I am now focused on agent workflows with the Claude API, building tools to take repetitive work off people’s plates.

The Amen Break is (in my understanding) one of the more important fragments of music in modern history. As there is a common, golden thread that began seventy years ago in Jamaica. Which runs all the way up into the modern day as Drum And Bass music and beyond.

The Amen Break is part of a special story, one of fusing human cultures from around the planet into a common sound. I encourage people to do a bit of research here, it's worth your time.

Thank you for the great article and excellent subject.

This is a thought I just finished having. Right alongside a bowl of canned soup, that (with the help of spices) turned out to be a five star meal. Food is medicine, as it is said.

I'm really excited to see another link to The Gutenberg Project. They do amazing work. And if their download stats are accurate, they must be one of the largest libraries of PDFs on the public Internet.

I've heard that the Knights Templar could transform common metals into gold, at a rate comparable to ancient Egypt.

I did not know that YouTube offers RSS feeds for their channels. I can see a lot of good use cases for that information.

This makes a lot of sense. But maybe it's the direction that Mozilla is already headed in?

Outstanding context, thank you!

This is a wonderful partnership to learn about. I hope that Internet Archive is successful here.

This reminds me of a quote from one of my favorite short stories, "The dollar was strong and jobs were plentiful, so when the factory in town announced they were hiring, hundreds of people applied. John was one of the lucky few who got a job. The hours were long and the work was hard, but John was grateful to have a job that paid well. With the extra money, he was able to buy his family a new house."

Your point about more people working on similar projects in stealth mode is likely an underappreciated notion. And thank you for introducing me to Adept; looking forward to keeping my eyes on that company's progress.
