Interesting idea, but I would have liked a deeper dive on what the tension is about. Using public function B within A doesn't force the developer to make bad decisions about B's signature. It merely widens the risk a bit, but the main idea is still to only change public contract (e.g. B's signature) in a way that prioritizes de user.

One could argue that being a consumer of one's public contract helps keep its quality high?

Am I missing another aspect of this tension?

Judo. Unexpected benefits:

Learn some Japanese. Become less afraid of falling.

The animation at the top is worryingly misleading. The airplane that crashed was a Beechcraft twin turboprop, and the plane maneuvered a couple of times before crashing. It had 4 people inside it.

The animation uses what looks like an airliner, and shows the jamming as a sort of bubble that directly sends the airplane into a crash.

I found it disturbing when I looked at it, it does not represent the story well, and I think that's irresponsible.

Although it's not its main topic, I enjoyed Ian Morris' Why the West Rules—For Now: The Patterns of History, and What They Reveal About the Future, which goes over this in a way that really fascinated me. The book's ideas seem contested but as a layman it was a great tour of many years of humanity.

They hardly refused to talk. See them answering his questions in the full video of the call, if you can still stomach him talking. There was an awkward silence in the middle.

Even so, it's not good to spin this event into something it isn't. The video is misleading and I felt manipulated by it.

https://fnune.com My blog. It's not in great shape.

https://fnune.com/waza A site I made to properly learn judo vocabulary in a way that builds up from basic concepts to form more and more complex technique names.

NixOS rocks, but if there is some software you need to install to comply with company policies (e.g. Vanta) then you may be in for some unexpected tinkering.

I would suggest Home Manager though, which will let you set up your environment just as well and is very portable, while still affording you a mainstream host system of the company's choice.

Made me think of my own insistence on relying on the existence of RCTs for a lot of things related to health...
