Be wary of these.

I REMEMBER THIS! Oh man, I haven't read this in forever. It was one of the blog posts that kicked off what became Iron Arachne, my own procgen project.

Thank you for writing it! I'm going to re-read this.

This is my favorite kind of procgen blog post: here's what we did, and here's a little widget you can play with to see how it works.

I played Legend of Zelda, Adventure of Link, A Link to the Past, and Ocarina of Time to conclusion. I haven't really played any Zelda games since then, except maybe for a few minutes for a few of them.

I'm a little surprised to hear that Ocarina of Time is getting a remake. I take it it's going to be a Switch 2 exclusive?

As someone who writes about heraldry, I'm happy to see this here. I'm a little surprised, though. What about this is interesting for the Hacker News crowd?

In Dune: Awakening, the first DLC has a storyline that takes you into the heart of a surviving AI's lair. It's strongly implied that humans drove it insane, rather than it starting out murderous.

I love this. Hopefully we start to see more experiments like this.

I will not allow popular association to dissuade me from using typefaces I like. I'm considering starting to use em-dashes and en-dashes just out of spite.

I chose this font myself, though. It was a human choice in this case. =/
