On average, I would say a senior would get between 3k and 4k euros in RO, at a regular company. It depends a lot on city too. In bucharest salaries should be higher.

Obviously Amazon thinks that mortages can be paid just by flexing their employee badge.

Yup.

I haven't worked there, but I've seen salary reports online between 1.5k-2k euros for a senior, after taxes, per month.

Amazon pays less than local outsourcing companies in Eastern Europe.

Faang salary my arse.

Lowered the bar so low that I'm getting a lot of scams and fishing.

Ha, in RO it's 5 mins. We win. And yes, they leave it with emergency lights too.

I think the paid content features are part of Jetpack the plugin.

ISS has windows, right?

It's not accurate, at least for RO. According to an official site, 32% of our electricity comes from wind since yesterday. On this site it says it's 0.5%

Care to share those ideas?

Since it's not using PSR-7, does it mean that you could even run WordPress?

You don't, it's one of the issues I have, trying really hard to scope the project. I basically try to replicate the features the likes of Greenhouse are selling, obviously on a simpler scale.

Ideally I would prefer to sustain myself from one of these projects. There are a lot of projects that are successful. Sure they aren't making a fortune, but they enough money to support their maintainers.
