No, ActionCable for this one, it's a Go service that's handling the websockets.

If you log in to Shopify you'll notice a card on your admin home that says "Reach a wider audience during Black Friday and Cyber Monday". That card will give you more information and allow you to opt in.

Hey! The products actually are recently sold by merchants who opted in to be featured! We populate the first 5 and then new ones come down through the websocket connection

Villas can be super affordable when you're travelling with large groups. I'm the CTO of a startup that provides these sort of vacations. It's pretty common that the per person rate works out to much less than a hotel would be and you get the added bonus of an entire house!
Here are a couple of examples:
Sleeps 24 - $4,501/week - http://demeure.com/properties/villa-turquesa--2
Sleeps 13 - $4,569/week - http://demeure.com/properties/casa-fermentini

Thanks to the coming Canadian election Demeure was able to add a special rental property. http://demeure.com/special-offers/sussex. Come and stay in the former Prime Minister's house for only $3000/night!
