Maybe there is a difference in phone addiction management if they are allowed to use it every 45 minutes and if they are forced to be abstinent for 7 hours straight.

I personally would've guessed many immediate positive effects just from a phone ban in school, TFA claims they have a measurement against that.

> We do have multiple time zones in Europe.

We mostly have CET and there are minuscule +1 and -1 on both sides.

You don't ask for proofs to print them out, put them in your drawer, and brag around that you own the proofs for these exercises.

You ask Claude for proofs to help your understanding. Understanding is the exact same activity as verifying.

So.. Why NT? Is it fast? Is it secure? Does it allow modern features? Is it hackable? Or why?

Why is this thing so fast? I type 3 + 4, hit alt+p and the result appears instantly! (Or the better question: why are all the other things so slow?) I submitted it to <https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=50259214>!

A very small, fast and responsive JS smalltalk environment.

Commands:

  * Alt+P runs a line or selection and Pastes the result.
  * Alt+D runs the line or selection.
  * Alt+I runs the line or selection, and inspects the result. If you hit Alt+I on on a line that consist only of an object name, it opens the Inspector.
It has a JS bridge, demo with jQuery, a mandala.

.. why not? They need models, models are free, so they grab them. They have time to sort them out later.

https://squeak.js.org/demo/simple.html this is canvas not DOM/SVG. It doesn't support fonts/text. Its text support feels less janky than I expected, select, copy, paste work, but it is still not browser-native.

I don't know how to start Amber in the browser and couldn't find demos.
