It's quite a different thing. Sensory information like the limits of your body, vision and sound input.

I believe the woman above described that she does not feel the limits of her body and needs constant jerking and slamming of the body parts on the walls to find comfort.

If done in a smart way, of course you can. Similar thing with canvas. If letter/word spacing depends on that character, then you'd probably need to rerender more stuff.

I've found that stuff I do at work sometimes sucks the life out of me. Doing a 2-3 day project at home somehow brings the life in me and I no longer find the work so tiring and can again be productive.

If I don't do that, I never recover. I can take a passive or active vacation and get back to work still being unmotivated.

I don't think he told you anything. He wrote something and you read it.

There's also mentions of "slow shifts" and similar, indicating that the change of your diet is not radical and sudden, but gradual and slow.

Picky eaters have a somewhat disease and should try to incorporate variety. Otherwise you risk black swans by eating practically the same thing all your life. Eating many ingredients is antifragile :D

An interesting question. Given a limited number N of lottery tickets you can buy, what is the minimal N for which you maximize your expected winnings? The answer maybe requires enumeration of particular tickets and cannot be derived just by formulas (my conjecture is that problem is #P-complete).

It's not just line breaking that makes LaTeX beautiful. It's also space placing too.

Sometimes you can adjust the distance between letters in a word or distance between words to not break to many lines.

The algorithm is similar.

The algorithms do find the best breakage but as you can see, there's no need to look for good enough, there's already a nice n log n solution.

These algorithms work so well that then you get the problem of rivers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/River_(typography)

The reason why efficient DP algorithms exist is because the evaluation function you're trying to minimize is decomposable over the decisions (of where to put a line break). Rivers on the other hand can be optimally evaluated only after you've put your spaces and breaks.

Similar issues are encountered in machine learning for sequence tagging or natural language parsing, where the loss function does not always decompose over sequence of decisions. The statistical models used there (that replace Viterbi-like DP algorithm) try to compensate by reinforcement learning or decomposition tricks. It works quite well.

Well, I don't understand what's there to check, I never said Netherlands wasn't in EU.

The most probable reason why you can't get packages from EU Amazon to Switzerland is because they are not in EU.

The same reason applies to why you can't get packages to EU if you're trying to get them from US.

Yes, some big sellers don't mind but small ones do, and EU Amazon does have a huge variety of sellers.

For example, I've lived in Croatia before and after EU membership. The Amazon situation changed completely and now I can get packages from any EU Amazon.

It's true for many countries. The biggest reason is because they are not in the EU. The logistics of getting stuck at some border control is something most sellers don't want to deal with.

Because it is not in EU.
