But he's edited a "third" of en.wikipedia according to his article which is genuinely astounding to me. Surely much of that has to have been automated?

I'm glad others are still saying this. Split view plus slide over was, IMO, peak iPad multitasking. It was beautifully smooth and convenient and covered 99% of use cases I ever have for doing more than one thing at a time on an iPad.

Having a full windowing system just adds a bunch of overhead, weird edges cases when apps have multiple windows open, and slows me way down.

16% is so far removed from "most" that it undermines your entire argument, whatever it is.

Maybe briefly. I've been on the web since the late 90s and horrible banner ads (and for a while, shudder, flash ads) have been a thing for as long as I can remember. At least now we have good content blockers!

>John Smith hits you -> you seek relief from John's insurance company. John's insurance premium goes up. He can't afford that. Thus, effective financial feedback loop. Real skin in the game.

Ah great, so there's a lower chance of that specific John Smith hitting me again in the future!

An all-TTS audiobook offering is just about as appealing as an all-stable-diffusion picture gallery (that is, not at all).

This bug isn't that. It's the frontmost app losing focus to nothing.

Are you suggesting they carry around a Starlink dish in a backpack and deploy it on the go whenever they want to stream some music?

It's a pop sci magazine, of course they use language like that. Actual academic papers are different.
